Walking the Camino de Santiago is an experience you won't forget all your life and once you take your first step, nothing will ever be the same again. During this walk Marco decided to change course and start his own Real Estate company which he named after the famous pilgrim's walk: Camino Real Estate.

His company Supports real estate owners and users companies and (semi)- government in their spacial and financial real estate challenges. In addition to acting as an advisor, Camino also plays a supporting role as an investor. In 2015, Camino received the Pieter van Vollenhoven prize from the National Restoration Fund for the risk-bearing redevelopment of the former train station St. Gerlach in Valkenburg.
